The Wish Life has changed significantly in the last year, but it hasn’t stopped us from working harder to bring shoppers an incredible Ecommerce experience! In our time away from the office and working remotely, the home has simply become part of the daily grind. Even, at times our favorite place to be. Whether it’s being surrounded by things that inspire us throughout the long day or spotlessly clean and organized to keep our focus, the home office is here to stay, and it’s from behind these desks that we give you to the best of Wish!
See how a few of our colleagues have freshened their workspaces just in time for spring cleaning, using even a few Wish products in the mix!
Bianca Castillo, Project Manager
For Bianca, her desk is a perfect combo of sit-to-stand, complete with a non-rolling chair and a vase filled with pens that resemble blades of grass. “My favorite part of all,” she shares, “a Live On Air neon sign that lets my housemates know that I'm in a meeting.”
Betsy Melo, Sales Enablement Content Specialist
When Betsy began setting up a desk in her home’s guest room a year ago, she didn’t think it would be for the long run. The end result has been a clean, warm, and inviting space personalized with eclectic touches that make Betsy happy every time she comes into the room. “There's a tiny framed picture of my daughter, a vintage glass box full of solid perfumes, a fern in a cheerful yellow pot, and a cute glass snail that was a gift from my best friend,” she tells us. The desk and chair themselves are unique finishing touches that really round out the cozy office she’s created. Both being thrift stores finds that she repurposed herself with new paint color and recovered cushion.
Carlos Gomez, Senior Risk Specialist
In contrast, Carlos’ workspace is uncluttered and straightforward, explaining that in keeping his desk minimal and comfortable, “I can focus more on my work without other distractions.”
Mia Burgess, Senior Technical Recruiter
As she transitions into a full-on standing desk, Mia is making the most with this retractable option. And with her fresh vase of flowers, she explains that they “keep things lively and fend off the loneliness of working remotely!”
Sean Wallace, Toronto Office Manager
Lastly, it’s a sleek Mid Century mood with Sean’s space. Conveying a classic feel, the desk is an authentic vintage Domino Mobler from the 1960s! The general area is timeless and seems to fit well into the aesthetic of 2021.
