#DIYWishoween Contest Rules 2020

Planning to use Wish items in your Halloween costumes, decorations, makeup looks, or even pet outfits? 🎃 Tag #DIYWishoween for a chance to WIN $1,000 Wish cash! 👻 Whether you’re a novice or a die-hard-DIY’er, we wanna see your creepy creations using Wish products.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase of any kind will not increase your chance of winning. Must be 18 years old to enter. Entry Period ends October 31, 2020, at 11:59 pm PST. Maximum of one entry per participant, per period.

Entry Period: Begins October 12, 2020, and ends October 31, 2020, at 11:59 pm PST.

Method of Entry: Participants can generate a maximum of one entry by:

• Uploading your best makeup looks, costume, pet costume, decor with Wish products (image/video) to the Wish Halloween landing page for one of the following categories:
• Makeup
• Decor
• Costume
• Pets
• Include an active email address and
• Include Instagram or Facebook handle, Enter your email address and IG or Facebook handle
• You can also upload your photos or videos to any social media accounts as follows: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
• You must tag @Wish and use #DIYWishoween
• Follow us @Wish on our social channels
• Please be sure to have a public account

Entry Requirements: Each photo or video entered should:

• Be high quality (e.g. in focus, well lit, uncluttered)
• Showcase a product ordered from Wish
• New original photos and videos

Eligibility: This contest is open to individuals 18 years or older, with valid Wish accounts. One entry per participant. Entries may be submitted starting on 10/2/2020 and no later than 10/31/2020 by 11:59 PM PST. This contest is void in Quebec, Puerto Rico, Italy, and where prohibited.

Prize, Prize Claim: The weekly prize for the winning submission is Wish Cash equivalent to $1000.00 (or the local currency equivalent). Potential winners will be contacted via the Wish IG or FB through a direct message. Each verified winner will be announced on Wish Instagram and Wish Facebook every monday, up until 10/31/2020 or soon thereafter. Prizes will be added to the winner’s Wish account within 21 days of verification.

Each potential winner is responsible for monitoring his or her account for notification and receipt of other communications related to this sweepstakes. Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt, and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the respective prize winner.

Winner Selection: Each week Wish Marketing will select a potential winner based on the following elements: (i) creativity; (ii) visual appeal; (iii) and originality. Any entry not selected in a previous contest period is eligible in the following contest period. Each winner will be announced on Wish Instagram and Wish Facebook the following Monday or Saturday until 7/31/20.

Promotion Sponsor: This promotion, the #DIYWishoween Contest (the “Promotion”) is sponsored and administered by ContextLogic Inc. d/b/a Wish (“Administrator”). This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, or Facebook and participants agree that neither Instagram, Twitter, TikTok nor Facebook shall have any liability to them related to this promotion. The use of the Wish app is governed by the Wish Terms of Use. The use of personal information is governed by the Wish Privacy Policy.

General Conditions: Administrator reserves the right, at its discretion, to cancel, suspend or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Promotion. Administrator reserves the right, at its discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. The administrator may require and review documentation to verify the eligibility of a potential winner and require completion of additional releases and tax forms. Winners will be solely responsible for any federal, state, and/or local taxes incurred in claiming a prize, and for any other fees or costs associated with the applicable prize. Administrators will not replace any lost or stolen prizes or components of a prize(s).

Release: By accepting any prize, the winner agrees, to the extent allowed by applicable law, (i) to release and hold harmless Administrator from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in or in connection with the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize; (ii) give Administrator all rights required to use, display, edit and otherwise exploit each entry (submission) including any individual images or likeness, for a variety of purposes, including promotional, advertising or other marketing purposes. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner's consent to the Administrator’s use of the winner's name (first name and initial of the last name), address (City and State), likeness, voice, and/or quotation for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.

Limits on Liability: The Administrator shall, to the extent allowed by applicable law, not be responsible for: (a) incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users, by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion or inaccurate transcription of entry information; (b) lost, late, stolen, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, or misdirected entries; (c) any technical or human error or unauthorized human intervention which may occur in the processing of Promotion entries or in the administration of the Promotion; (d) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; or (e) any injury or damage to persons or property including to an entrant's computer, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Promotion or from downloading any material from Administrator’s website or app, regardless of whether Administrator or a third party prepared the material and regardless of whether the material is connected to Sponsor’s website by a hypertext link. Administrator does not limit or exclude its liability where or to the extent that it would be unlawful.
