How did you get started?
I joined the business full time in 2017 to rebrand and repackage the brand. My background in product development, sourcing, and marketing was needed as well as capital. Some of our formulations were in place and needed tweaking for safety and scaling. It was a heavy lift but I loved the opportunity. Aromatherapy as a category in wellness is still not defined well. The opportunity with this brand was to redefine what aromatherapy could be if it was luxury and moving towards beauty.
I recommend our Vitality Chakra Perfume Oil. Expertly blended to balance and heal the root chakra, the scent of patchouli, cedarwood, sandalwood, and ginger is incredible and provides the perfect way to create a practice of self care. Just roll on, breathe and transform.
Who’s the biggest female influence in your life and why?
My mother, Leah Poller is my SHE-ro. She is soulful, creative, ambitious, and courageous. A skilled artist who works in bronze, she raised three kids on her own and always finds a way to manifest abundance.
What advice would you give to young women trying to follow your footsteps?
There is tons of advice about how to manifest your dreams. My favorite is "your thoughts create your reality". I take it one step further and suggest cleaning up all the language around self worth. Depression, anxiety, stress, these are real things, but beware that acknowledging them is to amplify them. Instead, think of everything as energy that you feel in your body. You are either moving it or holding it. Get great at moving it and it dissipates. Naming it and claiming it sets us up for "what you resist persists." Instead, breathe in and release whatever it is.
